Raven OA Chapter

The Order of the Arrow (OA) is the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. For 99 years, the Order of the Arrow has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. The Order of the Arrow provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long-term resident camping, developing leaders, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich, support, and help to extend Scouting to America's youth.

The Raven District chapter is a part of Colonneh Lodge.  We have some exciting upcoming events for Order of the Arrow members:

Raven Chapter Meetings

Fourth Thursday of the month at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Baytown

Order of the Arrow chapter meetings are typically held at 6:00 pm at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. All Arrowmen are invited. Chapter meetings provide an opportunity for the youth to develop a plan to support units in the district, promote upcoming events, participate in ceremony team preparation and regalia building, learn leadership skills and have fun.

National and Section Dance Team Winners

The Colonneh Lodge dance team comprised largely by Raven Chapter members recently achieved back-to-back landmark successes by winning first place at the Lone Star Section 2-3 South Conclave and first place at the National OA Conference held in Lansing Michigan. It should be mentioned that these were the first two times this group ever performed in any kind of competition.

Congratulations to all that participated in these competitions and a special ‘Thank You’ to all those that supported this huge effort.
